Boone Drake cannot figure out why he's been cut out of the loop. Lying in a hospital bed, thankful to be alive, Drake wants to find the ones who put him there, but his friends at the station are cutting him out. No one has been by to see him nor have they returned any of his phone calls. After making the biggest sting of his career, Drake wants to find the delinquents who put him in the hospital and nearly killed the star witness. As the answers start to come in, it is apparent that someone inside the Chicago police department is feeding information to the enemy. Who would do such a thing? Who could Drake trust?

Another page turner by Jenkins. I could not put this book down and the many twists and turns left me guessing as to who was behind the deception. While I didn't care for the Left Behind series, Jenkins novels in recent years have been thought provoking and enjoyable reads. My favorite is still
Riven which ties two stories into one and brings one man to the brink of his ministry and the other, who is condemned to die, chooses not only the most unique, but the most painful of deaths to share his faith! Wondering what's on the horizon for Jerry Jenkins, click
here.
Just another thought from the tub,
Lori
