I woke up the other morning to a winter wonderland. The trees, grass, plants, buildings and fences held a layer of hoary frost. A layer of purity that covered the deadness of winter. The sun glinted off the crystals and sent shimmering waves of light each branch. The reflected light hurt my eyes, but I didn't want to look away from the beauty.
The freshness caught my attention, but the fleeting nature of the beauty gripped me; compelled me.
Stop.
Look.
Feel.
Enjoy.
Worship.
Breathe.
Relax.
Remember.
Reflect.
Capture.
Praise.
I am continually confronted with the briefness of this life as watch my children grow.
Mature.
Leave.
I am continually confronted with the fleeting time to train their hearts and the questions?
Enough?
Right?
Good?
Lasting?
Godly?
And thankfully, I am continually confronted with the ETERNAL God.
Holiness.
Faithfulness.
Righteousness.
Goodness.
Awesomeness.
And I can rest in the beauty God gives me for this fleeting moment.

Wonderful Post! I too am continually confronted with the fleeting time to train their hearts. Thanks for sharing!
Love it! I noticed the beauty of the frost when leaving for a mtg. Was hoping to take some photos when I got back but it was all melted by that time.
