*SMILE* this picture is so precious to me. Seeing my older girls nearing the same height and sharing adventures and laughs. Selah is not too far behind either. My Blading Beauties!
Justus and Jadon have been best buddies since Jadon was born. Now they are entering the tween years and still maintain that friendship. It is great fun for them that everywhere they go they have someone who shares their interests and passions; someone who understands them and enjoys spending time with them. While some may disagree, I always tell my kids, "Friends come and go; Family is forever!" The relationships you build now with your family will set the foundation for the future. Reminding me once again how important this time away can be.
Sisters reconnecting. Living in the same house does not make you a close family. Having good relationships takes time...lots of it without the pressures of needing to be somewhere or see someone or do something. Just being together, talking, sitting, swimming, enjoying, loving, listening, knowing.
Angie, Amy, and Lani walked/rode with us. The view was beautiful walking along Lake Superior and the company was great, but we realized we needed to head back to our secluded spot for some alone family time. I was tired from packing and getting ready to go and the kids wanted more time on the little beach by Victor's Cottage. So we left our friends with the promise to see them again on Tuesday and rested.
So down to the beach daddy and the kids went. The kids had a blast with swimtoys
that had washed up on the beach during a storm. The idea of a place to swim just
down the stairs from our cottage was so enjoyed by the children.
Daddy and Gracia sat on the landing of the stairs and watched
the fun, took great photos, and were just plain silly!
Remembering all the times we live, love, and laugh,
Lori

Lori, if you loved me, you wouldn't post pictures of me with my eyes closed. That picture can be used for my "before" weight lost picture. Ick!
